Why did you become a tennis coach?
I became a coach as I wanted to remain in the sport once I stopped playing, I knew I couldn’t keep up the playing side of things once I left school so coaching was what I started doing straight away.
What do you like the most about being a tennis coach?
I genuinely love seeing people improve, whether you’re a once a week player who has now starting playing for the club team or you’re a child who’s just won their first big tournament. I love seeing both happen!
What is your favourite Grand Slam to watch?
Has to be Wimbledon, it just screams summer is here!
What are you most looking forward to about being involved in She Rallies?
I’m looking forward to seeing more girls picking up a racket for the first time in our county; I want to find more girls who love tennis as much as I do.
What is your tennis coaching pet hate?
People always asking if it’s my ‘real job’
If you could have one superpower what would it be?
To be able to teleport
What one country in the world would you most like to coach tennis in?
Probably Spain, I’d love to be able to coach in constant sunshine.
